Repurchase of own shares 2012

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of East Capital Explorer AB (publ) approved the proposal to authorize the Company's Board of Directors to decide on the purchase of the company's own shares for the purpose of giving the Board wider freedom of action in the work with the Company's capital structure and thus creating more value for the shareholders. East Capital Explorer announces that the Company's Board has decided to utilize the authorization for this purpose.

Mia Jurke, CEO East Capital Explorer, says: "The board has again confirmed it believes strongly in our Company's portfolio and its potential for value growth and has therefore decided to use its repurchase authorization. Given the current discount to Net Asset Value, we believe the repurchase of own shares will create strong value for our shareholders."

East Capital Explorer AB hereby reports that the Company, in accordance with the decision of the Board regarding the utilization of the authorization to repurchase own shares as announced on 7 August 2012. Shares can be purchased up to and including 10 October 2012, observing blackout periods in accordance to applicable rules. Execution of the resolution to repurchase shares is dependent upon market terms, applicable rules and regulations and the Company's capital position at any point in time.

Before 7 August 2012, the Company did not hold any own shares. The total number of outstanding shares in East Capital Explorer, including the ones held by the Company, amount to 33,709,706.

Repurchase of own shares 2011

The 2011 Annual General Meeting of East Capital Explorer AB (publ) approved the proposal to authorize the Company's Board of Directors to decide on the purchase of the company's own shares for the purpose of giving the Board wider freedom of action in the work with the Company's capital structure and thus creating more value for the shareholders. East Capital Explorer AB (publ) announces that the Company's Board has decided to utilize the authorization for this purpose.

The repurchase program allowed the Company to buy back own shares from 15 September 2011 up and until 30 March 2012. During this period, East Capital Explorer has repurchased a total of 1,141,969 shares at an average price of SEK 51.69 per share.

Before 15 September 2011 the Company did not hold any own shares. The total number of shares in East Capital Explorer, including shares owned by the Company, amount to 34,851,675.

Repurchase of own shares 2010

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of East Capital Explorer AB (publ) approved the proposal to authorize the Company's Board of Directors to decide on the purchase of the company's own shares for the purpose of giving the Board wider freedom of action in the work with the Company’s capital structure and thus creating more value for the shareholders. East Capital Explorer AB (publ) announces that the Company's Board has decided to utilize the authorization for this purpose.

The utilization of the authorization allowed the Company to repurchase own shares from 8 March 2010 up and until 9 April 2010. During this period, East Capital Explorer has repurchased a total of 647,485 shares at an average price of SEK 78.46 per share.

Before 8 March 2010, the Company did not hold any own shares. The total number of shares in East Capital Explorer amount to 35,499,160.

Repurchase of own shares 2009

The 2008 Annual General Meeting of East Capital Explorer AB (publ) approved the proposal to authorize the Company's Board of Directors to decide on the purchase of the Company's own shares for the purpose of giving the Board wider freedom of action in the work with the Company’s capital structure and thus creating more value for the shareholders. East Capital Explorer AB (publ) announces that the Company's Board has decided to utilize the authorization for this purpose.

The utilization of the authorization allowed the Company to repurchase own shares from 12 March 2009 up and until 9 April 2009. During this period East Capital Explorer repurchased a total of 771,000 own shares, corresponding to 2.1% of the shares in the company, at an average price of SEK 46.17 per share.

Before 12 March 2009, the Company did not hold any own shares. The total number of shares in East Capital Explorer amount to 36,270,160.
